Our extensive experience has been implemented in a number of different areas as follows:
- Investigation of complete conveyor head pulley range, in order to determine the optimal sizing of the pulleys for industrial applications. This involved the following steps:
- Linear static finite element analysis of complete range
- Non-Linear static finite element analysis of complete range
- Fatigue analysis of pulleys, in order to determine the implications of implementing this into the standard selection criteria
- Investigation of the level and effect of the residual stresses generated in the rolling process of the shells for conveyor head pulleys
- Development of a fatigue analysis system using Visual Basic for Applications in Excel
- Development of a simple calculator for the determination of the radial and hoop stresses for a thick cylinder under elastic conditions
- Static and dynamic analysis of fabricated fans
- Failure analysis of collapsed tanks
